PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording ink composition which is free of stains, excels in water resistance, is less prone to cause nozzle clogging, and less prone to transfer part of the attached images of one member to the other member in superposed relation with each other even in storing these members in layers after being allowed to attach to and record in members to be recorded. SOLUTION: The ink-jet recording ink composition comprises, in a water- scluble dispersion medium, polymeric fine particles containing an oil-soluble dye which are obtained by polymerizing (a) 0.5-10 mass % unsaturated monomer having a carboxyl group in the molecule, (b) 1-20 mass % unsaturated monomer having a glycidyl group in the molecle, and (C) other unsatarated monomers. |
