PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for continuously producing polybutylene terephthalate(PBT), by which reactors needed for the reaction and a stirring consumption power necessary for the reaction can be minimized. SOLUTION: This device for producing the polybutylene terephthalate(PBT), comprising an esterification reactor, an initial polymerization reactor and a final polymerization reactor, wherein the esterification reactor and the initial polymerization reactor are reactors not having outer stirring power sources, respectively, and wherein the final polymerization reactor is a lateral uniaxial low speed rotation type reactor. Thereby, the PBT polymer having a good quality can efficiently be produced at the minimum energy cost by the use of a necessary and minimal reactor constitution.
