PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding power supply controller and a welding equipment with which the detachment of an actual droplet can be electrically, surely and simply detected and the waveform of the welding power supply after the detachment of the droplet can be controlled as it is prescribed in consumable electrode gas shielded arc welding. SOLUTION: The welding power supply controller 101 is equipped with a welding power supply device 111 which is continuous and connected to a consumable electrode wire and a material to be welded. and the above welding power supply device is controlled by the welding power supply controller 101 in a consumable electrode gas shielded are welding device performing arc welding in a shielded gas atmosphere. The welding power supply controller 101 is equipped with a droplet transfer detecting part 102 detecting the detachment of the droplet from the tip part of a consumable electrode wire and outputting a droplet detaching signal and a welding power supply waveform controlling part 103 controlling a welding power supply waveform after the detachment of the droplet according to the droplet detaching signal from the above droplet transfer detecting part 102. The time differential signal of a welding voltage/welding current is found from the welding voltage and the welding current and the detachment of the droplet is detected by the droplet transfer detecting part 102 according to this time differential signal.
