PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single-shaft crusher for sharply crushing thin and elastic pet bottles, or the like. SOLUTION: This crusher consists of a casing 2 provided below a feed hopper 3 and containing a rotor 17 having a plurality of rotary blades 25, a fixed blade 35 attached to the inner wall face of the casing 2 through a blade mounting plate 36 and a discharge screen 44 set in the casing 2 and positioned under the rotor 17. The fixed blade 35 is slightly inclined to the rotary blade 25 on the rotor 17 side, the sharp side edge at one end 25a of the rotary blade 25 is used as reference 0 of the sharp side edge at one end 35a of the fixed blade 35, and the sharp side edge at the other end 35b of the fixed blade 35 penetrates into the inside of the sharp side edge at the other end 25b of the rotary blade 25.
