PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a deodorant capable of being used without sense of incongruity even by contacting with a body or particularly effective to deodorize a circumference of the body such as a diaper or the like. SOLUTION: A deodorizing composition is compounded with aα-olefin-maleic anhydride copolymer, further a fatty acid metallic salt, an inorganic metal compound and a carbonyl compound.
