METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR MANUFACTURING SHEETLIKE MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and equipment for manufacturing a sheetlike member which improve the laminating precision of the sheetlike member and operability and shorten a time for winding on a drum per one tire, thus enabling improvement of productivity. SOLUTION: A beltlike material W carried by a carrying conveyor 3 is cut in a specified width h by a cutting device 2 and transferred by a transfer device 7 onto a laminating conveyor 5 provided in the direction of intersecting the carrying conveyor 3 perpendicularly. An integral number of strip members Wa are laminated by a positioning-laminating device 8 and thereby the sheetlike member Wx for one tire is formed. The formed sheetlike member Wx is transferred under the center of a forming machine drum 4 and the fore end part of the sheetlike member Wx is brought into pressure contact with the lower surface of the forming machine drum 4 by raising the fore end side of the laminating conveyor 5 by an elevating means. The sheetlike members Wx are stuck, while the length thereof is regulated finely with the feeding speed V of the laminating conveyor 5 and the rotational speed v of the forming machine drum 4 controlled.
