PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent snatching of a cargo placed in a cargo basket of a bicycle. SOLUTION: This cargo basket 20 installed on the bicycle having a handle 8 in a tip part of respective handle bars 7 by branching off the handle bars 7 to the left and right from an upper end part of a handle post 6 journalled to a head pipe, is installed on the cyclist side of the handle post 6, and is suitably installed so that a height position of an upper surface opening part 21 of the cargo basket 20 becomes a position lower than a height position of the handle 8. Thus, both arms of a cyclist and the handle bars 7 become a guard of the cargo in the cargo basket 20 to prevent the snatching.
