PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the danger of scattering of glass by developing the film effect of color, a pattern, characters and a picture when a special glass, permitting simply the application of the color, the pattern, the characters and the picture, is broken by an impact received upon applying the color or the like and to permit the resolution of the problem of easy slipping when the special glass is used for the floor by laying a paper, a cloth or the like on the slippery part of the surface of the glass. SOLUTION: The material is made of glass, special glass, a resin or reinforced resin which is transparent, partially transparent or frosted like a frosted glass and capable of seeing the opposite surface from one side or capable of confirming the color of the opposite surface while the expression of colors, a pattern, characters, a picture or the like is applied on either one surface of the glass by a coating material, a covering member, a colorant or the like.
