PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall material cutter made of ceramics capable of surely cutting a wall material in a desired size by a pressing breaking method irrespective of a material brittleness, a size or the like of the wall material. SOLUTION: The wall material cutter forms a notch at the wall material A placed on a base 1 by a cutter edge 8, and pressing breaks the material A by pressing both sides of the material A by a pressing force of a pressing plate 9 with the cutout as a boundary. The cutter comprises a pressing pressure dispersing element 10 detachably mounted on the base 1. In this case, a recess 11 is formed on a lower surface of the element 10 in a central longitudinal direction. Then, both the sides of the recess are formed with oblique surfaces 12, 13 toward their edges.
