SOLUTION: The die for a rotary type compression machine is provided with a die holder supported to a guide hole in the axial direction and a die insert, which is seated to a hole of an end part side in the die holder through a trunion shaped protrusion and is dismountably mounted by a fastening means, the protrusion 20 is guided in a helical shape in the axial direction between separated stop sections and is pressed by a spring 30 in the direction of a cooperating front end face 44 in the die holder 10.
