PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely weld a work on a predetermined position of a work when a projection bolt having a shaft part, a flange and a projecting art for welding is welded to a work made of a steel plate, and also to easily weld the projection bolt regardless of its position. SOLUTION: Intermediate electrodes 11 are installed on a supporting base plate 5 and the positions of the installation are set corresponding to the weld parts of the projection bolt with respect to the work 9. An accepting port 13 into which the shaft part 2 of the bolt 1 is inserted is provided on the intermediate electrode 11. After the shaft part 2 is inserted into each accepting port 13, the work 9 is set on it, then electrodes 18 and 19 of welding equipment 32 are introduced to the intermediate electrodes 11, and the work 9 and the projected part 4 for fusion are fused by pressurizing and energizing the electrodes.
