PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a potential therapy device capable of treating simultaneously a plurality of organisms or a plurality of sites of one organism and a method of treatment using the potential therapy instrument. SOLUTION: This potential therapy instrument is equipped with two voltage conversion circuits 1 and 1 parallelly connected to input terminals that convert alternating voltage supplied from a commercial alternator to low voltage, two rectifying smoothing circuits 2 and 2 connected to the output sides of the two voltage conversion circuits that change a low voltage alternating current to a direct current, two voltage regulation circuits 3 and 3 connected to the output side of the two rectifying smoothing circuits that increase and decrease direct current voltage, two or more inverter circuits 4 and 4 connected to the output sides of the two voltage regulation circuits that self- oscillate direct-current voltage and generate a high frequency and high voltage alternating current, two or more high voltage rectifying circuits 5 and 5 connected to the output sides of the two or more inverter circuits that change a high frequency, high voltage alternating current to a direct current, and two or more treatment electrodes 6 and 6 connected to the output sides of the two or more high voltage rectifying circuits.
