PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sucking cap in which adhesion to the head fixing face of an ink jet printer is enhanced through a simple arrangement. SOLUTION: The sucking cap covering the ink ejection openings of an ink jet head is fixed to an angular error absorbing member movably up and down with respect to the body of an ink jet image recorder recording an image by ejecting ink drops from the ink ejection openings directly toward a recording sheet.
