摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable appropriate reduction casting by surely forming a reducing compound within a molding tool by introducing gaseous metal into the forming mold and surely and effectively reducing the oxidized film on the surface of molten metal within the molding tool. SOLUTION: Inert gas is used as a carrier for introducing the gaseous metal for forming the reducing compound by reacting with reactive gas into the molding tool 100 in the reduction casting method for reducing and casting the oxidized film formed on a molten metal surface by the reducing compound. The gaseous metal vaporized in a heating furnace 110 is introduced with gaseous argon as the carrier into a cavity 100a of the molding tool 100 and gaseous nitrogen is introduced into the cavity 100a from a gaseous nitrogen cylinder 140, by which the reducing compound is formed within the cavity 100a.
