PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and precisely sort plastic pieces. SOLUTION: This equipment for sorting plastics is provided with a crusher 1, a screening machine 2, cleaners 3A and 3B, frictional chargers 4A-4C and an electrostatic separator 5. The plurally provided frictional chargers 4A-4C are batch-operated to charge and discharge a fixed amount of plastic pieces each time. Further, a buffer tank 7a to store the charged plastic pieces discharged from the frictional chargers 4A-4C and a feeder 7b to supply the plastic pieces to the electrostatic separator 5 from the buffer tank 7a in a fixed amount each time are provided.
