PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the manufacturing cost of a rice cooker by attaching a magnet without increasing the number of the parts. SOLUTION: The rice cooker comprises a main body 3 for storing a rice cooking pot 2 detachably, a lid body 10 attached to the main body 3 so that it can be opened/closed, an inner lid 44 attached detachably to the lid body 10 for sealing the opening of the rice cooking pot 2, and an inner lid detecting function consisting of a magnetic body 82 disposed on the inner lid 44 and a detecting means (reed switch 84) disposed on the lid body 10 for detecting the magnetic body 82. The inner lid 44 has a resin frame 60 for mounting the magnetic body 82 along the rim of a metal main body 46 of the inner lid for attaching a sealing member 54 for sealing the opening of the rice cooking pot 2, and a mounting part 70 is disposed along the rim of the resin frame 60 for mounting the magnetic body 82. For example, a position determining structure of the inner lid 44 for the lid body 10 is mounted on the resin frame 60 of the inner lid 44, and the mounting part 70 is disposed at the position determining structure.
