PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the peeling of a film integrally molded on a control panel and the deformation of the control panel of a rice cooker. SOLUTION: The rice cooker has an outer lid 3 covering the top of a main body 2 in which a detachable pot 1 is stored. A steam vent 4 communicating with the inside of the pot and a control panel 5, the control display, including or adjacent to the steam vent 4 are formed on the outer lid 3. In addition, a detachable steam cylinder 12 with a hole is disposed in the steam vent 4. The top of the steam cylinder 12 is made to project from the outer surface of the control panel 5, and the end surface of the steam cylinder is formed in such a shape as overlaps with the surface of the control panel 5.
