SUBSTANCE: device consists of degasser body to which cavity water to be degassed is supplied from atop through unit of injection heads. Sprayed water is evaporated and degassed. Formed steam-air mixture is sucked through flash steam cooler by jet ejector. Flash steam intake is installed with one of its hollow ends on grid inside column. Its other end is tightly joined with branch pipe for withdrawal of steam-air mixture. Layer of Rashig rings is filled inside flash steam intake. Reduction of steam amount coming to flash steam intake leads to reduction of mass of steam-air mixture entering water-air ejector to improved its working characteristics including vacuum height.
