PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the dechlorination of ash in a carbonization furnace for manufacturing activated carbide. SOLUTION: The activated carbonization furnace 72 is structured by mounting carbonization pipes 12a, 12b provided with screw conveyers 10a, 10b inside in a combustion furnace 16 to dry in a front stage, to carbonize in a middle stage and to activate in a post stage. Dechlorination pipes 76a, 76b equipped with screw conveyers 74a, 74b inside are provided in the activated carbonization furnace 72 separately from the carbonization pipes to perform the dechlorination. The carbonization raw material is supplied to the carbonization pipe 12a to be dried to generate steam in the front stage, to carbonize the dried material to generate a thermal decomposition gas in the middle stage and to activate the carbide by steam and the thermal decomposition gas in the post stage to manufacture the activated carbide. Fly ash containing dioxin is introduced into the dechlorination pipe 76a added in the activated carbonization furnace 72 and heated and dechlorinated to make dioxin harmless. |
