PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To open and close a cover easily and reliably in a cap with a cover and to simplify a molding die by giving a turning property having a large degree of opening to a hinge interconnecting a cap body and the cover. SOLUTION: The cap with a cover is made of a synthetic resin wherein a cylindrical cap boy 1 is integrally connected to a cover 2 by a hinge 3. The hinge 3 is joined to the vicinity of the upper end of a cylindrical outer wall of the body 1, the cover 2, and the vicinity of the lower end of the cylindrical outer wall and consists of main rigid hinges 4, a pair of elastic films 5, which are disposed across the hinges 4 so as to be spaced apart by an interval g, and each of which has a nearly uniform thickness. The main hinges 4 have a nearly flat upper surface when the cover is opened, and a curved groove is provided on the upper flat surface which extends across a point nearly equidistant from the cap body and the cover. The elastic films 5 form a plane downwardly inclined from the outside end of the hinge toward the outside ends of the films 5 when the cover is opened, and the plane is slightly curved outward when the cover is closed. |
