PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently cool the whole electrode tip including its front end without deteriorating the cooling performance depending upon the shape or the attitude of a work. SOLUTION: The welding gun is provided with a pair of electrode tips 11a and 11b which are opposing each other, supporting members 12a and 12b which support the electrode tips 11a and 11b, and an air supplying means which supplies cooling air. The cooling air supplied from the air supplying means flows through a pipe 23c, a distribution device 24, pipes 23a and 23b, an air passage 22a, air passages 22b and 22d which are formed in the supporting members 12a and 12b, and air passages 22c and 22e which are formed in the electrode tips 11a and 11b, and is finally ejected from outlet ports near the end parts of the electrode tips 11a and 11b.
