The invention relates to a method and a device for determining exact information for climate control and for avoidance of condensation and ice formation on the inside of windscreens and/or components, independent of temperature variations, variations in relative humidity in the interior of a motor vehicle and independent of contamination on the surface of the windscreen and/or on other safety-related components. The aim of the invention is achieved, whereby the surface temperature and dew-point temperature relevant to the component are measured in a representative position and compared with the current values for these parameters in the passenger compartment and should a vehicle-specific minimum difference in temperature and dew-point temperature be exceeded, then an airflow with a defined reduced dew-point temperature is directed onto the component. The invention further relates to a method for climate control in motor vehicles and for avoiding condensation on safety-related and sensitive components, in particular on windscreens and electronic components. |
