PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head in which deformation at the horizontal wall part of a piezoelectric element located at a lower part of an ink chamber can act effectively on the expansive and contractive deformation of the ink chamber at the time of ink ejection and a pressure being generated in the ink chamber can be increased when a voltage having the same potential difference is applied between electrodes on the opposite sides of the ink chamber. SOLUTION: First and second piezoelectric elements 2, 3 are bonded through an anisotroic conductive adhesive 7 while sandwiching an electrode 6. Upper part of the second piezoelectric element 3 is bonded to a fourth piezoelectric element 5 through an anisotroic conductive adhesive 9 while sandwiching an electrode 8. A plurality of ink chambers 12 are formed by a plurality of grooves 10 made in the first piezoelectric element 2, a plurality of cuts 11 made in the second piezoelectric element 3, and the fourth piezoelectric element 5. A relation t<=w is satisfied between the thickness w at the vertical wall part 2a and the thickness t at the horizontal wall part 2b of the first piezoelectric element 2.
