PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a flexible belt to improve manufacturing efficiency by automating a manufacturing process for a flexible belt and be excellent in size precision by preventing the occurrence of a peripheral length difference between the two end parts of the flexible belt. SOLUTION: A device for manufacturing a flexible belt comprises a pair of grasping members 3A and 3B disposed in parallel to each other and linearly grasping the vicinity of two end parts 1A and 1B of the flexible belt 1 placed on a sheet placing table 2; a support table 4 to place in an overlapping state the two end parts of the flexible sheet 1 when the flexible sheet 1 is brought into a loop-form state; a joining machine 5 to join together an overlapped part 1C of the flexible sheet 1 placed on the support table 4; and a controller 20 to move a pair of the grasping members 3A and 3B in a direction, in which the members approach each other, with the flexible sheet 1 grasped by a pair of the grasping members 3A and 3B to bring the flexible sheet 1 into a loop state and overlap the two end parts 1A and 1B with each other and control such that a pair of the grasping members 3A and 3B are separated away from the sheet placing table 2 as the grasping members are respectively rotated.
