BLOW MOLDED ITEM AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent incineration of a blow molded item from shortening a life of an incineration furnace. SOLUTION: A blow molded item is molded by using a material which comprises 30 to 70 wt.% of a natural vegetable fiber and a remaining portion composed of a thermoplastic resin 2 containing a fibrillatable modifier 3 added thereto and shows a die swell ratio of not less than 1.25 at some shear rate in the range from 1×10/sec to 1×102/sec. The thermoplastic resin 2 containing the modifier 3 added thereto shows melt tension of not less than 5 g at a tensile velocity of not less than 2 m/min and a die swell ratio of not less than 1.5 at some shear rate in the range from 1μ10/sec to 1×102/sec.
