PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for insolubilizing arsenic-containing soil, capable of sufficiently performing insolubilizing treatment of soil difficult to be insolubilized, such as soil containing arsenic mainly existing in a trivalent form, soil containing organic arsenic compounds, and soil showing a reducing property due to the influence of organic substances and sulfides contained therein. SOLUTION: Arsenic-containing soil is oxidized with an oxidizing agent, and then is mixed with an insolubilizing agent, thereby changing the form of arsenic in the soil into slightly soluble one to perform insolubilizing treatment of the arsenic. |
