PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crawler tensioner capable of reducing a driving loss by imparting tensile force to crawlers according to a load state at traveling time. SOLUTION: This crawler tensioner for imparting the tensile force to the crawlers installed on a lower traveling body, is provided with idlers 5a and 5b for tensioning the crawlers 7a and 7b provided on the lower traveling body and hydraulic tension cylinders 8a and 8b for moving the idlers 5a and 5b in the crawler tensioning direction, and is featured by being constituted so as to introduce a pressure source of the hydraulic tension cylinders 8a and 8b from a pressure source for hydraulic traveling motors 9a and 9 as a driving source of the crawlers 7a and 7b.
