PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering support device providing a driver with an easy grasp of steering timing and a steering amount during parking. SOLUTION: A steering angle sensor 10 detecting a steering angle of a steering wheel 7, a yaw rate sensor 12 detecting an angular velocity in a yaw angle direction of a vehicle, and a control switch 13 setting a zero degree position of a yaw angle of the vehicle are connected to a controller 11. The controller integrates the yaw angle direction angular velocity detected by the yaw rate sensor for calculating the yaw angle of the vehicle, and on the basis of this, specifies which step of a parking process the vehicle is in. Operating method and operating timing in accordance with each step are provided to the driver as steering information by voice via a speaker 14.
