PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably finish a rubber roller so that the whirling amount of a rubber part to a core metal is a specified accuracy value or less. SOLUTION: This rubber roller polishing machine has a main spindle 21 and a tailstock spindle 81 for supporting the rubber roller 11 formed by providing a rubber part 11a around a core metal 12, at the respective ends of the core metal 12, and a grinding wheel 41 for polishing the outer peripheral surface of the rubber roller 11 while rotating. A main spindle center 23 for supporting one end part 12a of the core metal 12 is fitted to the main spindle 21, and a tailstock spindle center 33 for supporting the other end part 12b of the core metal 12 is fitted to the tailstock spindle 31. The main spindle 21 and the tailstock spindle 31 are driven and rotated by motors 22, 32 respectively in the state of supporting the respective end parts 12a, 12b of the core metal 12 through the respective centers 23, 33, thus rotating the rubber roller 11 around the core metal 12 as a center shaft.
