PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of the tube cut length in which no flaws or defective dimensions are left behind in a product even when flaws or defective dimension portion are present in a center of a base material, the products can be cut with different length, and the yield is improved. SOLUTION: When the cutting position of a work before the cutting is determined by specifying a portion which can be formed into a product using the work before the cutting according to the states of the dimensions and flaws over the entire length of the work before the cutting on an inlet side of a cutting machine, and the products of different length are obtained from the work before the cutting, the cutting position of the work before the cutting is determined so as to maximize the number of products to be obtained by combining the products of different length with the portion for obtaining the products.
