PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewage cleaning apparatus easy in maintenance and capable of treating a large quantity of washing wastewater at once to separate and remove a pollutant to drain clean water. SOLUTION: Air is mixed with washing wastewater 1 containing a pollutant such as a surfactant or the like along with a flocculant solution 4 by an aspirator 4 and sewage containing formed floc particles and air is introduced into a cylindrical separation chamber 6 at a predetermined angle. Since the floc particles hold air bubbles, the washing wastewater 1c entering a separation cylinder 10 from the outlet part 8b provided to the lower end of a mixing cylinder 8 is separated into an upper floc layer 9 and a lower cleaned water layer 22 by the buoyancy of the floc particles.
