PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adequately hitterate by a simple operation without causing meshes of a net member used to a strainer to get loose, and also without applying excess deformation on the net member due to an assembly attachment or with out performing a troublesome screwing work. SOLUTION: In the strainer of a water feed and hot water feed instrument having the net member fixed on the outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical body provided with a water inlet or a hot water inlet, or the like on the peripheral wall, the net member is made in a band-plate shape with meshes made of a metal material and a resin material, and is provided with fasteners engaged to both their end parts to be connected, and this band-plate shaped net member is fixed to the outer periphery of the cylindrical body in a strained state by winding the net member on the outer periphery of the cylindrical body and engaging the fasteners at both the end parts to be connected.
