PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage mechanism and a cabinet which allow an easy take-out of things stored in the rear of a cabinet and an easy storage of things. SOLUTION: The cabinet has a base, a first supporting table which engages with the same such that it can move back and forth, a second supporting table which rotatably engages with the first supporting table, a storage device secured to the second supporting table and casters which move in response to the back- and-forth movement of the first supporting table to help it move. The storage device not only moves back and forth but also rotates with respect to the base.
