METHOD FOR FORMING GAP OF ERASING HEAD, ERASING HEAD AND VIDEO RECORDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method for forming a gap of an erasing head having excellent quality, the erasing head formed by this method and a video recorder using the erasing head. SOLUTION: A front core 3 constituting the erasing head H is composed of two magnetic bodies 5 and a magnetic gap 6 consisting of a non-magnetic body disposed between the two magnetic bodies 5. The gap 6 consisting of the non-magnetic body disposed between the two magnetic bodies 5 is joined to both the magnetic bodies 5 by adhesion or welding. Thus, a bubble is hardly generated at a gap part and mass-productivity and cost performance are enhanced compared with the case of a conventional method for forming a gap by glass bonding.
