PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flame-retardant resin composition having flame retardancy equivalent to polyvinyl chloride(PVC), allowing incinerating disposal and good in mechanical properties. SOLUTION: This nonhalogenated flame-retardant resin composition is obtained by adding a metal hydroxide in an amount of 50-300 pts.wt. and a zinc compound in an amount of 1-50 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of a base resin prepared by mixing 30-65 pts.wt. of A component selected from the group consisting of polyolefin-based resins containing oxygen atom in the polymer, 15-70 pts.wt. of B component selected from the group consisting of acryl rubber, ethylene-acryl rubber and urethane rubber and 0-15 pts.wt. of C component selected from the group consisting of acid-modified polyolefin-based resins so that the total amount of each component is 100 pts. wt.
