PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid an undesired thermal action for a carburetor and to achieve a desired mounting attitude in a casing, because a space occupied in an apparatus casing is extremely restricted in the case of the handheld working apparatus, so that an individual component must be stored in a narrow space, and thus the carburetor must be directly fixed to an engine block by a flange in a range of the intake opening in the working apparatus having an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: A spacer component 9 is provided. The spacer component is positioned between an engine 10 and the carburetor 7, and has a passage section 18. The passage section extends obliquely in relation to respective flange planes 19 and 20 of the spacer component 9. The passage section 18 connects a suction passage 21 of the carburetor 7 with the intake opening 11 of the internal combustion engine 10.
