摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent decrease of the electrification ability of an electrophotographic photoreceptor using titanyl phthalocyanine as an electric charge generating material and increase of residual potential when the photoreceptor is used repetitively. SOLUTION: In the objective electrophotographic photoreceptor obtained by successively disposing at least an electric charge generating layer and an electric charge transferring layer on an electrically conductive substrate, a titanyl phthalocyanine pigment having at least one principal peak of Bragg angle 2θin its X-ray diffraction spectrum to Cu-Kαrays at 26.2±0.2 deg. is contained as the electric charge generating material and the electric charge transferring layer contains 0.005-1.0 wt.% water based on the amount of the constituent solids of the layer.
