PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a music delivery system which delivers music data suitable for a portable telephone set. SOLUTION: Request data for music data generated by a request data generating section 301 of a portable telephone set 30 are transmitted to a computer 10 through a communication network 3. At the computer 10, a set type specifying section 102 specifies the type of the telephone set 30 and a transmission data extracting section 103 extracts performance data included in the music data in accordance with the type of the set. The extracted performance data are transmitted to the telephone 30 through the network 3. An incoming melody setting section 304 of the telephone set 30 generates incoming call melody based on the received performance data. |
