PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional OSC display signal output device that cannot have displayed a superimposed OSD indication in a regular state because an output video image on a television receiver is disturbed resulting from mismatching of synchronous timing of the OSD indication signal superimposed on a composite video signal in the case that its own broadcast system and a broadcast system compatible with the connected television receiver differ from each other. SOLUTION: In the case that a broadcast system corresponding to a video reproducing device and a broadcast system corresponding to a television receiver 50 differ from each other, a broadcast system changeover switch 10a provided for the video reproducing device is selected to change the broadcast system of the video reproducing device. Thus, even when the broadcast system corresponding to the television receiver 50 differs from that of the video reproducing device, the broadcast system of the both is matched so that an OSD indication generated by the video reproducing device can be displayed on the television receiver 50 in a regular state.
