PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver that provides digital data in response to the intension of provision by a transmitter side. SOLUTION: The transmitter side transmits digital data to which district limited information such as a postal number is added. Upon the detection of a capture preparation instruction signal provided from the transmitter side, a storage section 33 captures the transmitted digital data. The district limited information attached to the captured digital data is compared with user district information having been stored in a memory 24 in advance and the receiver 1 displays an image corresponding to the digital data whose district limited information is coincident with the stored user district information on the basis of an output start signal from a broadcast side. When receiving an output end signal, the receiver completes display of the image corresponding to the digital data.
