PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distortion compensating amplifier with which a device for compensating the waveform distortion of a signal is made small-sized. SOLUTION: This distortion compensating amplifier is provided with an amplifying part 146 for amplifying a signal, a temperature measuring part 200 for measuring the temperature of the amplifying part 146, a compensation value table part 132 having a compensation value table storing a compensation value for compensating the waveform distortion of the signal on the basis of the measured temperature of the amplifying part 146, a selector 138 for selecting the compensation value table provided in the compensation value table par 132 on the basis of the measured temperature, a signal control part 136 for compensating the waveform distortion of the signal while using the compensation value, and a temperature control part 200 for controlling the temperature of the amplifying part 146.
