PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper unit in which noise problem due to structural vibration of a damper and self-excited oscillation caused by interference with wind flow can be prevented without lowering the wind velocity. SOLUTION: The damper unit has a damper shaft coupled with a motor and switches the air supply passage by means of a damper rotationally driven through that motor wherein a viscoelastic material is fed between an insertion hole at the boss part of the motor shaft and the end part of the damper shaft inserted into the insertion hole. When switching the damper, structural vibration of the damper and self-excited oscillation caused by interference with wind flow are damped significantly by the damping effect of the viscoelastic material and generation of noise and vibration, e.g. self-excited oscillation of the damper, is prevented without lowering the wind velocity in a duct.
