PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating cycle apparatus capable of realizing an optimum operation state by controlling to an ideal state gas/liquid separator temperature (intermediate pressure) important upon gas injection operation. SOLUTION: There are provided outdoor and indoor heat exchangers 7, 3, and temperature detectors a, b, c, d for detecting suction temperature of a compressor 1 and temperature of a gas/liquid separator 5. Condensation temperature and vaporization temperature of the heat exchangers 7, 3, suction temperature of the compressor 1, and temperature of the gas/liquid separator 5 are used to obtain ideal temperature of the gas/liquid separator 5 on the basis of the condensation temperature and the vaporization temperature. A pressure reducing apparatus 6 or 4 located upstream of the gas/liquid separator 5 is controlled to attain the foregoing temperature. Further, the pressure reducing apparatus 4 or 6 located downstream of the gas/liquid separator 5 is controlled in order to correct a difference between the vaporization temperature and the suction temperature of the compressor 1 to an appropriate value.
