PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling element spacer capable of stabilizing the position and orientation of a ball and the rolling element spacer in an infinite circulating passage by improving seating of the ball to a ball holding seat, and reducing sliding resistance acting on the ball, and effectively preventing the rolling element spacer from falling out between the balls. SOLUTION: A pair of members is used for a rolling guide device conducting relative continuous movements through an infinitely circulating ball line, and the rolling element spacer 5 is interposed between balls 2 adjacent to each other in the infinite circulating passage and circulated with the balls 2. The rolling element spacer 5 is provided with a pair of ball holding seats 50 which is formed in a concave spherical surface shape generally analogous to a spherical surface of the balls 2 and is slid with the balls 2. Around each ball holding seat, a falling-out preventive portion 52 is formed, which projects in an arranging direction of the balls 2 from an edge portion of the ball holding seats 50 and is kept in a non-contact state to the balls 2 seated in the ball holding seats 50. |
