PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for managing a contents built-in data base and a storage medium with a contents built-in data base management program stored and a storage medium stored with contents data capable of preparing a system in which the information on user definition can be circulated integrally with contents against already existing contents, and simplifying the attachment of the information, and enriching extendibility, and preventing the conventional circulation from being disturbed. SOLUTION: An inside data base is constituted in an unused area inside contents, and an inquiry or request from a user is obtained, and an operation including the reference or update of the inside data base is performed based on the contents of the inquiry or request, and the result of the operation is returned to a user.
