PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition for bundling fibers, capable of satisfying both of reduction of yarn break and fluff in a finishing step of the fibers usable for a fiber-reinforced composite material, and having good opening properties. SOLUTION: This resin composition for the bundling is characterized in that the penetrating rate (Pe) of a wool felt having the resin composition for the bundling impregnated therein, into a methyl ethyl ketone solution of a matrix resin (65 wt.% concentration) is regulated so as to be 1-40 sec.
