PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive dust proofing device for a moving mecha nism with a long service time for protecting from a ball screw and a nut mem ber dust and metal vapor by covering them, capable of corresponding to a high speed movement. SOLUTION: When the ball screw 11 is rotated and driven by a driving motor 15 to move a moving body 17 where the nut member 21 is mounted, the ball screw 11, the nut member 21, and a part of the moving body 17 where the nut member 21 is mounted are shielded from the outside by a fixing cover 25 and an elastic body cover 27. The part of the moving body 17 where the nut member 21 is mounted is moved with rolling up the elastic body cover 27 with the movement of the moving body 17 provided with the elastic body cover 27. After the moving body 17 is moved, the elastic body cover 27 is pushed by the fixing cover 25 to seal.
