<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mailing list service system by which a user can simply execute the processing of 'temporarily taking part in a mailing list and then retiring from the list'. SOLUTION: A member management section 12 adds a sender of a mail received by a mail delivery section 11 to a member of a destination mailing list when the sender is not a member of the destination mailing list or updates a final transmission time of the sender in mailing list management information with respect to the mailing list in a mailing list data storage section 13 to its mail transmission time when the sender is a member of the mailing list. A member retire management section 14 refers to data in the mailing list data storage section 13 to conduct 'the management of retiring a member from the destination mailing list above when the member of a mailing list has not sent a mail addressed to the destination mailing list above for a prescribed time or over'.</p> |
