<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optically coupled device which can supply light sufficiently to a light receiving element by increasing the quantity of light on the side of an input section with a low input current, and a manufacturing method for assembling such an optically coupled device without requiring any additional step. SOLUTION: The optically coupled device has an input section comprising two light emitting elements 1a, 1b and lead terminals 3a, 3b for supplying the light emitting elements 1a, 1b with a drive current; and an output section comprising light receiving elements disposed oppositely to the light emitting face of the light emitting elements and lead terminals 13a, 13b for supplying the light receiving elements with a drive current, wherein the two light emitting elements 1a, 1b are connected in series.</p> |
