PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner and a method for manufacturing the toner which can impart good resistance against flaw (resistance against grazing, resistance against scratching and resistance against denting) to the fixed image to be formed. SOLUTION: The toner for development of an electrostatic charge image contains at least a binder resin and a coloring agent and contains a specified crystalline compound by 3 to 40 parts by mass to 100 parts by mass of the binder resin. In the DSC curve of the toner measured by differential scanning calorimetry, at least one recrystallization peak is present in the second temperature rising process.
